How to implement the Business Technology Standard?

The Business Technology Standard is an open-source management framework to plan, build and run technology. Before you can implement the standard, you need to understand the standard, your maturity against the standard and have organisational buy-in to use the standard.

As a first step organisations normally ask Xonetic to run an assessment of their maturity against the business Technology Standard. Once this is done organisations increase their knowledge of different areas of the Business Technology Standard and to prepare for implementation of the standard.

This can be done through a mix of knowledge and competence-based training, simulations, workshops, and sprint-based exercises or with the full support of an expert consultant to prepare an organisation for implementation.

Once this foundation stage is completed you then move to the early adoption stage where a business starts to use the Business Technology Standard and gain value from it. As the organisation uses the standard, they move through the adoption lifecycle and the Business Technology Standard becomes the framework the organisation uses to successfully plan, build and run all their IT for the
benefit of the business and their customers.

Xonetic can provide support to help an organisation through each stage of the process at a level that is right for you.
